The GALLERY DEPT. x ASICS GEL-K1011 Khaki / Clay Canyon fuses trail-inspired performance with street-ready artwear in this bold collaboration between the LA-based label and ASICS. Designed as part of a limited collection, this silhouette debuted during Art Basel 2024 and draws design elements from various GEL-KAYANO models while modernizing the build with ASICS’ latest cushioning tech.
The upper features a rugged, multi-paneled design in khaki and clay canyon tones, blending mesh and synthetic materials with a nod to outdoor utility. Custom “DEPT.” stencil branding appears on the toebox, while GALLERY DEPT.’s signature yellow heel tag delivers a pop of contrast. The shoe borrows tooling from the GEL-CUMULUS 17, offering FLYTEFOAM™ and FLYTEFOAM™ PROPEL midsole cushioning for responsive comfort, along with GEL™ inserts for impact absorption. With layered textures and visual depth, this sneaker is both a performance hybrid and a wearable piece of art.
